Colmers School and Sports College
Like many schools, the fitness facility at Colmers has to meet several requirements. Curriculum support and use for its own 1,100 students and staff, plus its 12 secondary and 35 primary school partners, as well as community use in the evenings and at weekends.
Darryl Bunn, Director of Sport says “we needed kit that was easy, safe and quick to use that would accommodate classes of 25 – 30 and the circuit format proved ideal for that.
At one end of the scale we’ve got the gifted and talented - athletes and sports team members with specific training needs. But the number of pupils not usually attracted to this type of facility, who are using it outside of lesson time, has been staggering”.
