Local Authorities and Trusts
HUR caters for all ages and abilities, which fits the requirement of most Local Authorities. It is suitable for use by mainstream exercisers and its safety features coupled with ease of use can also help attract a wide range of user groups - including those that are often hard to reach such as seniors, ladies, young and disabled people.
Safe, effective exercise
HUR’s air resistance system has a more consistent load or resistance profile which reduces stress on joints and connective tissues and works the muscle specifically for safer, more effective results.
Easy to use, non-intimidating
A simple + and – push button adjusts the resistance level which can only be seen by the user, reducing intimidation and competitiveness.
Space and cost savings
Because HUR machines have no weight stacks their footprint is smaller, some provide two exercises in one machine, offering better functionality more cost effectively.
HUR ‘Air Circuit’
A full body workout can be achieved in 30 minutes – shorter workouts ‘fit’ busy lifestyles and improve retention, allowing you to accommodate more people in less time, which increases income potential.
Housing the circuit in its own room offers three advantages. 1) Low establishment cost as little, if any, building work is required 2) Programming flexibility with relevant instruction for specific user groups, inductions, personal training, classes etc. 3) Extra capacity for busy times.
Smart Card
Benefits both exercisers and operators by monitoring usage and performance. Numerous other features include on screen video guidance and automatic programme updates. Smart Card encourages independent exercise, which enables staff to identify and work with customers who need more personal attention.
Designed to integrate disabled users into mainstream exercise environments but suitable for all user types from beginners to athletes. HUR currently also has 10 machines with Inclusive Fitness Initiative (IFI) Accreditation.
HUR has worked closely with a number of Local Authority clients since 2002 supporting and assisting in both new build and refurbishment projects of fitness facilities. Because every facility has different needs we take a consultative approach, providing advice and guidance tailored to suit your individual requirements.
Please call us for an informal discussion about your project.
