Health Clubs
HUR enables you to cater for a wider range of user groups of all ages and abilities, which can increase levels of business and/or differentiate you from your competitors. Its broad appeal means it can be used in clubs catering for all member types or those who wish to attract specific user groups – for example ladies only. Because every club has different needs we take a consultative approach, providing advice and guidance tailored to suit your individual requirements.
The Natural Transmission TM system reduces stress on joints and connective tissues and works the muscle more specifically for safer, more effective exercise. This makes it suitable for exercisers at either end of the fitness scale from novices to seniors, disabled and young people as well as regular and more experienced exercisers such as serious weight trainers and athletes. HUR was originally designed for power training.
HUR’s pneumatic system provides the ability to execute quick movements, with a heavy load but without inertia. Because HUR maintains its resistance profile, regardless of speed, endurance as well as strength training benefits can be achieved - faster circuit-type training using lighter resistance or slower repetitions with a more intense load.
HUR ‘Air Circuit’
A full body workout can be achieved in 30 minutes – shorter workouts ‘fit’ busy lifestyles and improve retention, allowing you to accommodate more people in less time, which increases income potential.
Space and cost savings
Because HUR machines have no weight stacks their footprint is smaller, some provide two exercises in one machine, offering better functionality more cost effectively.
Smart Card
Benefits both exercisers and operators by monitoring usage and performance. Numerous other features include on screen video guidance and automatic programme updates. Smart Card increases the time instructors have to spend on customer service, contact and personal guidance. Monitoring frequency of use enables operators to identify at risk users and address their lack of exercise adherence – an aid to improving retention.
HUR’s Easy Access range is designed to integrate disabled users into mainstream exercise environments but is suitable for all users from beginners to athletes. We also offer 10 Inclusive Fitness Initiative (IFI) accredited machines.
